Oatmeal/Cornmeal Doggie Biscuits

Mix together and ALLOW TO SOAK
      1 cup uncooked oatmeal
      5 cups hot water
      1 tbsp beef bouillon
      1/3 cup margarine

ADD and stir well
      3/4 cup powdered milk
      3/4 cup cornmeal
      1 egg

Then ADD slowly 1 cup at a time:
3 cups whole wheat flour
(may need more to work into a stiff dough)

ROLL OUT on floured surface to 1/2" thickness, cut into shapes with cookie cutters.

BAKE at 325 for 50 minutes on a sheet of baking parchment.

NO Preservatives so STORE in freezer or share with friends. Makes 4 dozen.

SALMON BLONDIES

Ingredients:
      14 1/2 - ounce can salmon
       1/2 - cup cottage cheese
      1/2 - cup shredded cheddar cheese
      1 1/2 - cups garbanzo bean ( or other non - grain) flour

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Empty can of salmon - liquid, bones and all - into a food processor.

Add cottage cheese and mix together well, to a pudding-like consistency.

Add flour and cheddar and mix into a sticky, loose dough.

Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease it.

Turn dough out onto the greased pan and push flat with wet hands.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until golden brown.

When cool, cut into the desired size blondies.
